Did you know that 1 in 3 men have zero personal friends in their parish?

Here’s what that means. When you sit down in the pew for Sunday Mass, you say hi to the guy on your right. Maybe you know him and his family. But the guy on your left? He has no one. No one to call, no one who cares, no one who will pray for him if he dies. Every 13 minutes, a man dies in North America because he believes he got left behind.

If we were honest, the pew next to you is empty because he's not even showing up to Mass.

Now, there's another guy. Maybe it's you, and you can't live in a world where that seat stays empty. You want to do something about it, but you don't know what, and you don't know how. There are a lot more men exactly like you. In fact, there are a million more women, mothers, grandfathers, friends, and brothers who can’t stand another day where good men go abandoned because no one reached out and said hello.

This is unacceptable. And we refuse to let it continue. As Fr. Larry Richards says, “There are no lone wolves in Christianity… Christ sent his men out two by two. Men need men. We’ve gotta do the same.”

Good men out there don’t need a handout. They need a hand up, a call to something greater. They need a brother to stand with them. To offer to pray with them.

“Men reaching out to men, or peer support, is more effective than psychiatry. Brothers walking together has a bigger impact,” says Sean Lynn, a former police officer for over 33 years, with a decade working with youth at risk of falling into gang life. “It’s about no man left behind.” Sean now works full-time in ministry to men and launches Heroic Men groups in Canadian parishes.

The crisis of masculinity is real, and it affects us all. You see the struggle. You care. This is the time for action. Now, you can partner with Heroic Men, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, on a mission to change all that.

First, we are launching Be a Man!, a powerful new series featuring Fr. Larry Richards. His bestselling book has transformed the lives of men for over 20 years. Now, this message is coming to life in 12 epic episodes, giving men the tools to reclaim their faith, their strength, and their mission. It’s free to any man, anywhere, through the Heroic Men app.

But that’s not all. We’re also walking alongside men to build brotherhood.

We’re building men’s groups across the nation, in your parish backyard. Real brotherhood, real accountability, real change. In addition to the groups themselves, we’ve trained hundreds of leaders across North America to start groups in their local parishes so that men can lift each other up in person. And for the men who have no one, we’ve started our own online community.

“We've never been lonelier and more isolated,” says Dean Patterson, a Heroic Men leader who volunteers in prison ministry. “Fr. Larry lays out the problem well. The stakes are so high in this calling. In the prisons as well as parish life, guys just live better and endure life trials better when they have brothers to journey with them."

This is where you can help: to provide this support to ANY man, we need 1,000 people to pay it forward with $5 a month.

That's basically a cup of gas station coffee.

Your $5 per month pays it forward so that one man can start one group in his home parish. One man gets the resources, training, and essentials to start impacting men.

Here’s why: In 2025, we’re already working to train 1,000 leaders across North America. That’s 1000 men starting Heroic Men groups in parishes, just like Sean, working hard to build up your faith community:

✅ We give them the best Catholic media for men → to form heroic faith at no cost
✅ They get tools and resources to start parish groups → to revive parish life
✅ Plus zero-cost personal training and support so no man leads alone → to multiply disciples for Jesus Christ.

God made you a man. And God doesn’t make mistakes.

Most people will do nothing. And the cost of doing nothing is another man lost. This is personal for us. Since the pandemic, the number of men who feel abandoned and unwanted has increased to 37%. This is real data. That empty pew next to you stays empty.

Can you help us? Help us reach men and call them to become the man God made them to be. Are you in?
