Not a professional service. Mentors walk with you as brothers in Christ — not as therapists, counselors, or spiritual directors, even where they hold those qualifications. For professional help, a mentor will point you to it.
A mentor here is a brother a few steps ahead of you.
A mentor is a man who has walked some of the road you are on.
He is not a therapist, a counselor, or a spiritual director, even if he happens to be qualified as one. If you need that kind of help, he will point you to it and encourage you the whole way.

How a man finds his mentor

Filter mentors by the topics you need — fatherhood, recovery, marriage, coming back to the faith, and more.

Each bio says whether he is open or full.
Open his profile, hit 'message', introduce yourself to apply.

Meet, and keep talking
Set up the first call yourselves, and agree on a plan. Stay in touch each week, and a program lasts 90 days.

Every time you meet, your mentor will check in on these three areas:
My prayer life today
Audit where your attention and your intentions are. Make a plan to build closeness with God.
My connection with men
Audit how often you meet up and network with others, how you keep boundaries and build brotherhood.
My sense of purpose
Audit what you believe God's plan is for your life, and what you hope to do. Build a plan to start making progress.
The code between brothers
Every man agrees to this before he is paired. It is what keeps it safe and honest.
Treat each other with respect, honesty, and charity.
What is shared stays private — except where safety or the law requires otherwise.
No lending or borrowing money. No using the relationship for sales or personal gain.
Show up and communicate. If you need to step back, say so.
If anything makes you uncomfortable, you can end the relationship at any time and report it.
You do not need to be an expert or a catechist. You need to be a few steps further down the road, and willing to be formed before you mentor another man.
Every mentor takes a short course that explains how the program works, what mentors are expected to do, and where the boundaries are.
